OK.......

So the new Fall TV season is upon us. And I for one must admit that I do not watch a whole lot of TV. I just don't ever have that much time. But this is also due to the fact that TV is pretty much crap!! Since reality TV has taken over, the wonderful world of television has gone down the toilet. I actually used to watch Survivor for the first 2 seasons, but after that I lost interest. But I do watch some "reality" based TV. The Amazing Race. I really want to be on that show. Problem is my wife and I would kill each other before it was over. Well maybe anyway. I Digress...... so back to this fall television lineup....drum roll....d.d.d.d.d.d.dd.d........Crap for Crap!!!!! There are only about 5 shows that I think are worthy of my viewing time and of those....I think only 1 may be a new show. It just seems that there are no interesting shows anymore. What gives? No one can have an original idea but once every 4 years or something. The other thing I really miss is the sitcom. There are not many of those left on TV that are worth watching...and their numbers dwindle every year. Chalk that up to "reality tv" as well I suppose. Or is it just bad ideas by everyone involved. Again..who knows. Anyway...I am glad that my shows are now coming back at least with new episodes and I can again get my DVR into full on work mode.

LOST - THE TV show!!

OK so many things are getting interesting on this show and all of its related media outlets. They have had two commercial advertisements for the fictional Hanso Foundation in the last two Episodes of Lost.

The first commercial from May 3 gave a website of

www.thehasnofoundation.org

This is not really a new website to you if you are a lostie addict. But they revamped this site for this new covert tie in. So now there are some interesting things on this website.

Here is a run-down of last weeks "clues and tips"

Go to the Newsletter Sign Up link and type in any name. Then answeryes and the password is "breaking strain" without the quotations. You get some interesting flashes of computer dialog and the page goes to back to normal. Then Click on Joops corner and send him a message, anything. Once that goes, you come to a interesting flash screen with circles. Click on each circle until a line appears that connects the two, more pairs will pop up keep going until you get the circle in the middle. Click that and you get a very interesting letter. Click on the signature at the bottom of the first letter to get to the second and then again on the second letter.

OK now this week May 10, the Hanso Commercial had a newly listed website

www.sublymonal.com

The first screen is a set of screens in a circular formation. [directly related to last night's viewing screens??]
Anyway....you must click on each screen [scroll around until one of them gives you the hand symbol.] Then click on that screen 4 times. The screens will rotate. But the new unclicked screen will be in the same location. Click on the remaining screen with the infamous Lost "Numbers", ie the next screen requires 8 clicks. So forth and so on. Then you will receive the code.

If you click just below "sublymonal message unlocked" it will send you back to Hanso.

At Hanso, Go to the newsletter page and sign in as last week. Then go to the Executive bios page. Select Mitterwerk. A new password box appears in his Bio. Input the password from the sublymonal site. You will get some interesting information in the form of audio video. You must click on the back to get things rolling.

Now go to Alvar Hanso's bio. The date below his name is now a new link. Click that and get more info.

So far this is where we stand. Man this show is an enigma wrapped in a complex web of connectedness. I mean these guys are really innovating the use of television and media interaction. I commend them on that for sure. Not to mention, this is a really great show. Hope the last 3 episodes are even better.

Coke BLaK!

Yes indeed. The new drink for the more sophisticated coke and coffee addict. Its some essence of coke with coffee extract or some such concoction.

The BLaK-ness!!

Anyway...I bought some of this at the local grocery last nite. Its kinda pricey at $5 for 4- 8oz. little bottles. So then the rest of the evening I played out some skit from the Chapelle Show in my head as the new advertising campaign for this product. I mean really? BLaK! That is what a sophisticated person wants to drink? Man those people over at Coke are some idea machines. Granted I have not tasted it yet. I had to put it in the cooler to get them cold. So who knows maybe in just a few short days....I will be singing the praises of BLaK! Because as they say...........once you go BLaK! you never go back............

Enrty 002

Ok...So its been a looooooonnngggg time. I started this blog.... and then..[no and then!].... disapppeared off the face of the bloggin' planet. So..... apparently this is a problem for some people. Its just that times are somewhat busy in my world [geekville] right now. My job responsibilities have become ever increasing, unfortunately that has not coincided with pay....but I digress......alot......these days.

So for today's ramble......

Do you ever talk to yourself? I mean anytime. C'mon you know that you do. Me, I am a very accomplished self-talker. I carry on some very deep conversations with myself during many a car ride. Its really more or less the process of thinking out loud, but to the outsider....it would be talking. I often think that this habit contributes to the fact that, for the most part, I am a quiet person. Well unless you really know me or hand me several beers. Again.... digress. But I really don't like to make small talk or talk to people who have not had a beer or two with me. [apparently beer=speech] Anyway...I do my best to solve the world's and my own problems when I am alone in my car on my daily errands or commuting. What else is there to do really? Talk back to the radio announcer? I mean that guy is a complete idiot. Why even waste the oxygen. I do often talk on the phone...but I really don't like to be that guy. And then of course I can sing to the songs on the radio.....but well.....aren't the world's problems more important?

So anyway....I will attempt to be more active in my bloggin role. But there are no promises... and I am not one for making in rash commitment...like daily updates...or weekly for that matter. But I will attempt to put more thoughts down in hyperspace.

Entry 001

My new blog dedicated to the ramblings of my inner geek and other such things that should not be associated with anyone who really knows who I am. Or at least thinks they do. So do not be suprised to read any entry and come away with a feeling of wasting several minutes of your life. So forward we will go.

Let the geekiness flow through you! A powerful ally it is.

and so it begins..............
